24% earnings growth

Another week of stellar earnings reports has gone by without any payoff in stocks. Even Friday’s rally, the biggest in almost a month, couldn’t turn the tide.

Why do you guys think people aren't responding well to earnings growth? I personally don't trade on earnings. I usually rely on others to.

Group of Seven finance chiefs criticized the U.S., claiming its trade actions could devastate global economic confidence and threaten the effectiveness of the Western alliance. Do you agree? Will these tariff actions ultimately have such effects?

Especially, Japanese companies are facing a workforce automation problem. It’s not the kind you normally hear about, though — workers aren’t afraid they’ll lose their jobs to machines. Instead, the companies need to engineer robots to replace the droves of Japanese workers approaching retirement age. Right now, over a quarter of the Japanese population is over the age of 65, and that number is expected to jump to 40 percent over the next 40 years. That’s bad news for industries that will need to replace those retiring workers, especially for industries like construction for which automation hasn’t caught on as quickly.

Bitcoin can be used to pay for things electronically, if both parties are willing. In that sense, it's like conventional dollars, euros, or yen, which are also traded digitally. Bitcoin solves the "double spending problem" of electronic currencies (in which digital assets can easily be copied and re-used) through an ingenious combination of cryptography and economic incentives. In electronic fiat currencies, this function is fulfilled by banks, which gives them control over the traditional system. With bitcoin, the integrity of the transactions is maintained by a distributed and open network, owned by no-one. As we can see over time bitcoin has gained attention but still it is not accepted by all countries and still lot of legal considerations are focused , Do you think bitcoins will make its way in business at a large scale in next 10years ??
