I recently graduated from Barrington High School in Barrington, IL, a suburb about 45 minutes Northwest of Chicago. Amicably, my school is often known for its expenditures. In December 2016, our school board bought our television production program a $140,000 news van (http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20161207/news/161209171/). At the same time, CPS schools often don't receive enough funding to even host a graduation ceremony for their seniors.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you have any similar experiences or concerns, or an entirely different point of view?
