There hasn't been too much coverage of what building the border wall means environmentally. However, if built, it'd likely cross through major preserves like the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refugee. According to a federal offical, a wall would cut off all the trails and habitats from the refugee. Do you think concern over the environment is a substantial counterargument of the building of the wall?

Development happens and it happens fast; without a care of natural resources which usually cause environmental destruction. Therefore building and operating of infrastructures in ways that do not not disturb the ecological processes are required to maintain the functionality of natural systems.
