How do you believe that recent hurricanes, such as Harvey and Irma, will impact people's perceptions of climate change, if at all?

There have been a lot of people who claimed the warnings on the hurricanes was just climate change propaganda. However, after Harvey and Irma, they have to at least acknowledge the existence of the hurricanes and that those claims were false.

Do you think that it will have a long-term effect on their perceptions of climate change?

Even with the recent slew of hurricanes (Harvey, Irma, Jose, Maria), I do not think people will have a sudden "a-ha" moment about climate change, as people's beliefs still remain with the pattern of record-setting temperatures and earthquakes.
