    ME TOO Congress Act

I like how members of Congress are handling the issue of sexual harassment/assault internally. After the revelations about Sen. Al Franken and candidate Roy Moore, Representatives Barbara Comstock and Jackie Speier introduced the ME TOO Congress Act, which would increase protections for staffers who accuse lawmakers of sexual misconduct and require training on sexual harassment prevention for members of Congress. The bill also establishes a Victims' Counsel to provide legal advice to accusers and protects unpaid staff from employment discrimination. I love this bill because it forces our legislators to set a good example and shows that Congress will no longer allow sexual predators to govern without consequence.
