China and Syria have had diplomatic relations since 1956 and they have significant (one-sided) trade and military relations, with China supporting the Syrian government during its Civil War. Do you believe that China has been playing a "balanced role" in resolving the Syrian Crisis? What role do you believe it should play?

I think that political solution is the only solution to solve Syrian Crisis and that's what China has been proposing. I think its the best role every country should play and then maybe it lead to finally solve the problem at hand in Syria.
When thinking about the Syrian civil war, so much suffering could have been avoided if the international community had tried to be more balanced when trying to solve such conflict: through diplomatic channels, giving priority to the unity of the country and the well-being of its people and not recurring to violence.
Diplomatic channels may continue to be essential in resolving this conflict, as well.
