After ISIS, should the US completely leave Iraq and Syria?

    in Terrorism

On one hand, it could be said that leaving would leave a power vacuum that could be filled by another terror group in the region. The argument could be made, although, that the US is the cause of much of this terrorism and anti-American sentiment that forms these terror groups in the first place. Also, is the current US aid to groups in that region just going to promote more terror groups in the future? I am interested to know your thoughts on this.

I have often been led to believe that the US's support and financial aid in the region has sponsored terrorist groups rather than civilians seeking to rebuild their government.
