A recent article from Politico examined a new trend, also known as small dollar terrorism. These attacks, such as the ones in Barcelona and Cambrils, cost only a few thousand dollars. Disrupting the financing of attacks was a previous strategy that now may be largely ineffective. How should this type of terrorism be combatted?

The fact that these attacks are relatively cheap, then almost any radical can plan to carry them out. This makes the situation extremely unpredictable. I think the best way to stop these kinds of attacks is to combat the general proliferation of Radical Islam. Without the core ideology, even the most efficient jihadist attacks will become obsolete.
I agree. How should the ideology be combatted?
