John F. Kelly replaced Reince Priebus as Chief of Staff on July 31st. He was previously Secretary of Homeland Security and a US Marine Corps general. Is there more "discipline" in the White House in regards to in-fighting? Do you believe that this appointment is a positive or negative change?

The recent appointments in Trump administration show that the American administration is being run by military leadership and not by a civilian leadership. When it should be the other way around. I think these appointments also has a major impact on Trump recent Afghanistan strategy because it gave a message that America doesn't want to end its longest war but they want to take it to a whole other level. There has been a lot of disapproval in International community about Trump Afghan strategy and also scapegoating Pakistan for US losing the war in Afghanistan.
Military leading the government is a transition that I would be cautious about.
Interesting article on the topic - https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-fed-yellen-idUSKCN1B51PT. As the article states, placing blame on Pakistan is not an entirely effective strategy.
